Sixpenny drafted a design and worked with Blackwell Engineers to ensure this installation could withstand the severe wind and weather experienced during the Canadian winter
All components of the modular, welded steel frame were cut using CNC processes to ensure a seamless fit-up for welding as well as trouble free installation
The frames were sandblasted, zinc-primed and powdercoated a deep green to match the foliage used to clad the tree
The frame include supports for the foliage as well as individual fingers for all the LED strands to maintain a consistent vertical and horizontal spacing between pixels
The tree is designed to break down into pieces which can be managed by two people and Sixpenny also designed and fabricated custom storage racks which allow the tree panels to be stored with all foliage and LEDs in place, aiding in installation for subsequent years
Sixpenny provided a detailed installation and maintenance manual as well a comprehensive warranty to provide our clients with peace of mind and lasting satisfaction
